Terms and conditions of use.

By placing an order on this website, you are agreeing to be bound by our terms and conditions of use, which are shown below. Please read and save these terms and conditions prior to placing an order, they are here in the interest of both parties to avoid any misconceptions or misunderstandings before or after placing an order.

Please use our email contact question if you have any queries and do not place an order until you have fully understood them.

www.home-products-and-appliances.co.uk is the domain name for the online business side of Lambert Welch Kitchens limited , all payments and orders will be taken via this company. Please follow the Lambert Welch Kitchens link on the home page for  full company details.

These terms and conditions apply to the online sales of  Lambert Welch Kitchens ltd under the  www.home-products-and-appliances.co.uk domain only and are different from items purchased direct from our  retail shop.

Product information

We will attempt to give an accurate description of items for sale on our website along with images where possible and links to manufacturers sites where technical specifications can be found. we are unable to accept responsibility for any mistakes or misrepresentations as a result of product data supplied by the manufacturer.

We are unable to accept responsibility  if a manufacturer decides to stop making or change an item listed. We will however offer you an alternative product or a full refund of any money you have paid us but not any extra costs that this may have caused.

Placing orders.

All items listed include vat

At the checkout you will be asked to enter the cardholder's name AND address. This is important, as it is one of our security checks and your order may be delayed if we need to carry out further enquiries.

Before making the transaction make sure the item listed is the correct item, including size, colour, model number etc. By making the transaction you are accepting the listed  item is correct.

If your delivery address is different from the billing address of the card used for purchasing the goods further security measures will need to be taken out.

The next step is processing your card. If there is a problem, we will email you and your order will be placed on hold until we receive a reply.

We take payment either if we have the item in stock, once we have confirmed an item is in stock with the manufacturer and can be delivered to our warehouse within 7 working days or we have your permission should the product be on a long lead time.

Once your order has been successfully processed we will email you with the expected date it will be delivered to our warehouse company. We will put our delivery company details on this email so you can make delivery plans directly with them. On the delivery day you will be able to speak directly to the drivers via mobile phone for an accurate expected delivery time.

Alternatively, you can pay by BACS please contact us if you wish to pay by this method.

We will dispatch the goods once the BACS payment has been cleared.

Guarantees

All items sold are brand new and hold a manufacturers guarantee details of which will be packed inside or are available on manufacturers website. Guarantee lengths and conditions vary with product and manufacturer.

Faults

If your appliance develops a fault within the manufacturers guarantee period  you can contact the manufacturer direct using the service numbers supplied within the item . If you can also supply a product number and serial number, this will help to resolve the issue quicker.

If the manufacturers engineer is unable to repair your appliance, then you will be offered a replacement item or a full refund. A service engineer must attempt a repair before a replacement or refund is offered.

Please unpack and check for cosmetic damage to your appliances and report any to us via our email within 48hrs of them being delivered to you. This does not affect the warranty of the appliances just cosmetic/delivery damage.

Cancellation Policy

Any items cancelled after the payment has been made are subject to a handling fee of 10% of the value of the item. If the item is at the point of delivery then the delivery charge will be non-refundable.

Refunds

We offer a 7 day refund on all items from date of delivery. Items should be in the same condition as when delivered and in their original packaging. A collection cost maybe payable at our discretion. All refund requests should be put in writing and emailed to us withing 7 days so we can contact you to discss any issues.
